Yuki Takeda won 2nd place in two categories at the International Whistlers’ Convention in 2014, and has been twice Grand Champion of the teenage category in the past. Mr. Takeda pursues the potentials of whistling as a universal instrumental music through interpretation of classical, jazz and Venezuelan folk music, while using his oral sense trained in speaking five different languages for the development and education of whistling techniques. He received a BA degree in African Studies from Middlebury College after attending the University of Tokyo for a short period. He now works at ZS Associates International.
